This policy explains how CharterMyBus handles the details you share when you request a charter bus quote or book a trip.
What we collect
Details you send in the quote form or by phone, text or email: name, phone, email, trip details and passenger count.
How we use it
To prepare your quote, arrange your trip with a licensed carrier and contact you about it. SMS and email only with your consent.
Sharing
Trip details are shared with the licensed carrier that runs your trip.
Text messages
We don’t sell or share mobile numbers or text-message opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party. We text only people who opt in, about their quote and trip. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help.
Cookies and address search
We use a small first-party cookie to remember how you found our site, such as the page you landed on or the ad you clicked, for up to 90 days, so we can see which pages bring in quote requests. When you type a pick-up or drop-off address, the letters you type are sent to the OpenStreetMap-based Photon service to suggest matching addresses.
Analytics and advertising
We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use this site, and Google Ads conversion tracking to measure which of our ads lead to quote requests and calls. These tools set cookies and may record the page you came from, the ad you clicked and the device you used. When you send a quote request, we may share a scrambled (hashed) version of your email address and phone number with Google so it can match your request to the ad you clicked; Google cannot read the original from the hashed value and we never upload customer lists. You can turn these cookies off with Your privacy choices at the bottom of every page; the quote form works either way. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to turn off advertising cookies.
Your choices
You can ask us to update or delete the details you sent, or to stop SMS and email about your trip, by emailing info@chartermybus.com or calling (929) 831-5150.
